I am a passionate, motivated, and an experienced music instructor. I have been playing guitar and other various instruments since I was 11 - I'm currently in my mid thirties. I graduated in 2014 with an Associates degree in music from Sierra Community College, where my main focus was guitar and composition. The skill level of my students range from Beginner to Intermediate. For Piano Students: My beginner students start with the Bastien Piano Basic Method Books. I assess what book level is necessary during our first lesson. Other beginner material I use are: Alfred's Basic Piano Library Lesson Books, Older Beginner Piano Course (For Adult Beginner Students), and Piano Adventures series. As they progress I incorporate music of their choice.  Lessons also incorporate music theory, performance techniques, and relevent music history. Beginning voice students start with song selections of their choice. I began teaching while at college, where I taught private lessons part-time in between classes and on weekends. Since moving to Los Angeles, I have been teaching several students through local music schools, as well as through online video lessons.
