I come from a very musical family and started piano at five years old. Since then, my accomplishments include an Honorable Mention at the Korea Times Youth Music Competition. I have performed in two solo recitals and have performed biannually with the Beverly Hills Chamber Orchestra. I have participated in the Frederic Chopin Felix Mendelssohn Minifest 2005 and have regularly performed at the Colburn School of Performing Arts from 2003 - 2008. I use an organized step by step method as a general rule, depending on the students age and ability, seeking to have each student master the fundamentals of rhythm, note reading, technique and expression in a logical easy to understand way. I require practice at least 4 days a week to ensure progress. For preschool age children, I use the Wunderkeys method.
