Thomas H makes learning piano a breeze! I'm a 30 year old business professional and I always wanted to get into playing the piano. Musika and Thomas has made the process a breeze with being flexible on scheduling. He is a subject matter expert in the piano and in teaching. He creates a fun, inspiring, and empowering session. Whether you have played in the past or have never played piano before, he makes his lessons be no pressure where mistakes are totally fine as we are all here to learn, grow, and enjoy piano. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and he ensures that you gain that piano mindset to grow with each key you play. At first if you think the class being remote takes away from the experience, it doesn't. He send music your way through email and keeps a running log of your process. He has an amazing ear and can pickup when you play a wrong note every single time. I use my iPad on my music stand so we can see each other and go over music. He doesn't just want you to just play music, he wants you to grow so your skills retain for the longevity. It's great to be challenged so you can see yourself grow week by week. I highly recommend you give him a try and you will see on why he is passionate in what he does every single session. I plan to always utilize him as my instructor/teacher and will implement him in my business schedule. If you need to reach out to me about him feel free too. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have with Musika or by having Thomas as your instructor/teacher. Remember that just because it's remote it does not take away from the experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Michelle has been teaching my 5yo daughter piano for a few months. She is great with her, patient and ecstatic, which gets my daughter to pay attention and learn. She makes things fun and interesting, and I'm amazed with the progress my daughter has made in only a few months (playing with both hands, reading notes, and rhythm). I cannot recommend Michelle enough!

I am a high school band director and Cameron was our percussion instructor last school year. He did a wonderful job with the students! He covered all areas of percussion from marching band, to concert band, and even percussion ensemble. He pushed the students and expanded their skills on all percussion instruments, all while keeping things engaging for the students. He programmed for and rehearsed our three percussion ensembles last year. Cameron was an integral part of our band program and our students loved working with him!

I was wanting to learn how to play the ukelele for some years and finally decided to give it a try. Mister Cameron was a really good instructor for this. He taught me the basics and was determined to help me in the best way and a true professional. Make sure to ask him to show you his rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' he is really talented!

Cameron is timely, professional, and knowlegable. My son has been learning piano with him for a year now and has improved dramatically. I sit in on lessons to help because my son is 7 years old, and C ameron will include both of us in the lesson to engage my son, but also help me show him how to practice correctly. I could not be happier with our piano instruction from Cameron!

Cameron has been teaching my 9 year old ukulele, but has really gone past that to teach him more in-depth musical concepts. I'm a musician myself, so I appreciate how he's able to take inter mediate concepts and make them digestible for a beginner. He does great with kids, and lets me know how I can help my son practice between lessons. I highly recommend Cameron!

We adore Ms. Joanna! My 5 yo was asking for piano lessons and Joanna is a wonderful fit. She is kind, patient, encouraging and uses a compassionate approach. She provides positive feedback and quickl y observed my daughter’s needs and sensitive personality and also increased her confidence. We are so fortunate that Joanna can complete classes on zoom and we love working with her and learning from her weekly.

Ben was very professional and articulate. He had an answer for everything I asked and went beyond to give me the tools I needed to take what he taught and apply it creatively. Coming from a metal back ground it was extremely refreshing and rewarding to get a deeper understanding of how Ben approaches selecting chords and writing progressions. I'll definitely be going back to him for more lessons.

I know him since he was young and it was amazing seeing how by age 6 he knew what notes I was playing wrong or what note I was signing in just by ear! I have seen him grow to reach his goal. Personall y, I asked him to teach me. I wanted to relearn the clarinet. I only took 6th grade band, so obviously I forgot a lot. Honestly, I knew he was good, but I really enjoyed the way he taught me. He was so patient, encouraging, and kind. I like the way he teaches. Especially, after so many years having to relearn. I remember band was a little overwhelming for me. He went at my pace, and I really appreciate that.

Having Kenny as my sax professor has been great , to say the least. He has very attentive to details and his expertise is clear as he is always able to pinpoint specific things that I should work on. I can’t say enough about his ability to teach, his knowledge, attitude and his pleasant guidance. I would highly recommend him.

My 13-yo daughter tried out 2 local piano teachers - Daniel and another - and ended up wanting to stay with Daniel. I think it was his calm, patience, and steady encouragement. She was just beginning with piano, and immediately was playing some impressive songs, learning section by section. Any song she wanted to play, she would name it and the next lesson he was ready to teach it, and had adapted it to her level. I sat in the first month or 2 of lessons - there were days where I had trouble being patient with my daughter - but Daniel has the patience of a saint. He’s nice and she learned a ton. We are sad he moved away but wish him well!

Andy has been my son's guitar teacher for the past eight years. and my daughter's piano teacher for the past two. I can't recommend him highly enough. He is a very talented musician who seems to actually be able to teach any piece of music my children have been interested in learning. He personally arranges music for their instruments and emails it to me with updates as they build on. A close second to Andy's musical talent is his rapport with his students. Andy starts every class by taking a few minutes to ask about my children's weeks. He remembers their hobbies and follows up on exciting events in their lives. Andy makes them feel comfortable and ready to learn new music. Andy feels like a part of the family at this point and has been "instrumental" in their development. He is professional, flexible, positive, talented, and kind. He makes learning music fun, and I can't recommend him enough!

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation in support of our outstanding piano instructor, Mrs. Junko H. My two children and I have had the pleasure of being her student for over 8 years and can confidently attest to her exceptional skills, dedication, and impact on my musical journey. Mrs. Junko H. possesses a rare combination of technical expertise and a deep passion for music that has made her lessons both enriching and enjoyable. She has a unique ability to tailor instruction to the individual needs and learning style of each student, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. An example of this is how she was very patient with me and thought me at a different pace than my children who picked up the lessons faster. One of her greatest strengths is her commitment to teaching not only technical proficiency but also a genuine love for music. Mrs. Junko H. goes beyond the standard curriculum, incorporating a diverse range of musical genres and styles into her teaching. She chooses each book and lesson carefully and selectively. We are truly impressed by the progress we all have made to date. In addition to her technical expertise and unique teaching methods, Mrs. Junko H. is an excellent communicator. She effectively delivers complex musical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that her students grasp both the theoretical and practical aspects of their musical education. Even during the Pandemic, Mrs. Junko H. was kind enough to continue lessons for us through zoom without any interruptions or setbacks.

I don’t think I could have wished a better choice than Joakim! I personally came to him after a LOOOOONG break in my playing. Like almost 15 years bro… And Joakim always made me feel comfortable in my playing and it’s so easy to follow the lesson plans each week. It is so great to have a professional trombone player be so humble and really get the joy of playing an instrument that is so dear to me too. I regained my confidence in playing and remembered just how much I LOVE to do it! Now I am better than I thought I would ever be again. 10/10 would recommend. Don’t hesitate, because you will not be disappointed. Happy playing!

From the moment we met Deniel, it was evident that he possessed not only remarkable musical skills but also a genuine passion for teaching. His dedication to fostering a love for music in my son was t ruly inspiring. One of the qualities that set Daniel apart was his ability to tailor lessons to meet my son's specific needs and interests. Whether it was exploring new techniques, helping him get ready for a school concert, or learning to play his favorite songs, Daniel always went above and beyond to ensure that each lesson was engaging and enriching, which was reflected in my son’s progress and new love of playing the guitar. I cannot recommend Daniel highly enough!
