Esther is a great teacher and makes our daughter excited about learning the piano.
As someone who came in with NO experience (my husband taught me 2 chords and that is literally it) as an adult, guitar lessons were a bit daunting. However, Ileen made it so comfortable, easy to under stand, and allowed me to go at the pace I was able, as I have 2 littles. I have so much more knowledge of guitar, and can play exponentially better than when I started a few months ago! If you are new or beginner level, I would strongly recommend Ileen! Read More

After trying out free lessons at other music schools, I found lessons with Layton are a lot more personable. He challenged me, a beginner, with rigorous fundamentals of drumming. He also fills every l esson with challenges of new grooves I’ve never heard before. For example, I went in his drum lessons thinking I would just stick with rock beats, but I learned bossa nova grooves on my second lesson. Wasn’t what I expected but I’m so glad I learned something new! His lessons opened me up to a bigger musical world. Drum lessons with Layton is a constant practice of being present, and being unified with your drums. No matter where you are with your experience level, if you are looking for something authentic and to develop your own style, Layton is your guy! Read More
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ARLETTE! I don’t want her to get too busy and have no time for me! Yes, you’re lucky to find her. Unfortunately, she wasn’t my first teacher, and I came in with lots of bad habit s—but she patiently fixed them one by one. Her lessons are so well organized: scales, etudes, solo pieces, and best of all, I get to play duets with her. When do you ever get to play with a professional cellist?! She genuinely likes to help. As an adult learner, I have many questions, and sometimes I’m afraid I ask too much—but you can tell she truly loves helping her students. After every lesson, I go home excited to practice everything she taught me and always feel inspired to improve. Once you get to know her, she’s incredibly kind, fun, and has a great sense of humor. PLEASE GO AWAY—she’s mine! Read More

My daughter had her first lesson with Ursula and literally by the end of the session I heard such a difference in her vocals, the confidence she gained and the self awareness of knowing how far her ra nge could go was just amazing. Ursula gave her so many techniques that helped tremendously. Not to mention her overall personality! We instantly felt comfortable. She was very warm, sweet, inviting and has impeccable communication skills-l never had to question her or double back on anything. My daughter is so excited to continue working with her (she wont stop practicing around the house lol) and I cannot wait to hear the development in her voice. Ursula is TRULY a gem! Read More
Hiring Ursula to support my daughter’s singing and musical development has been a complete success! I’ve been impressed with how professional Ursula is - she arrives prepared with high interest mater ial and on time to every meeting. My daughter had been very shy of “sharing her voice” with those outside of our immediate family, and Ursula, being very relatable, immediately broke through with her. After a couple of meetings, my daughter auditioned for role in a musical and got the part! Prior to the experience working with Ursula, her anxiety and lack of confidence had led to her canceling auditions. Their meetings have been engaging and fun ever since the first session, with my daughter trying her best and really stretching throughout the weekly lesson. My daughter’s confidence has grown and I credit Ursula with enabling this positive development! Read More

Jonathan a gifted violin teacher with a flexible, supportive approach. I love taking lessons with him. He does a great job of exposing students to the traditional vocabulary and approaches and at the same time comes at teaching from a new angle, explaining things in different ways to find what clicks.
