Overview:

Having completed my education at Berklee College of Music, I pursued a comprehensive exploration of Recording Arts and Music Business, specializing in Bass Performance at the University of Colorado Denver. My journey originates from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has taken me across continents, establishing me as a composer, accomplished bassist, and sought-after session musician on a global stage. My path has been illuminated by several significant achievements, including the integration of my original compositions into advertisements and artist management successes that have propelled numerous artists onto over 600 Spotify playlists. An unforgettable highlight was sharing the stage with Cous at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in October 2022. Collaboration has been a cornerstone of my musical adventure, featuring esteemed artists like Cous, Grace De Vine, Lauren Hifrauf, Dandu, Diego Frenkel, Venus Cruz, Willie Green, Greg Tanner Harris, and Verena Fuentes. In a remarkably short period since its inception in 2020, my current project, "People in Between," has graced esteemed platforms like The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase, the Larimer Block Party (now Project PBR), and had the honor of opening for Grammy-nominated artist Emily Hale. My journey into the intricate world of audio over the past five years has been deeply rooted in passion. Freelance roles in renowned recording studios such as CSR, FTM, and CU Denver’s Core have allowed me to manifest this passion as a producer and technician. I've translated this fervor into being an Audio Engineer for an array of artists including The Pace Makers, Summer Bedhead, Keddjra, Sara Flows, Totem Pocket, Moon Maze, Katie Yeager, Nicki Walters, Diego Frenkel, Fede Flaviano, Mak Dooley, and Alison Taís. The heart of my musical endeavors extends to education. As I embarked on this journey, I discovered a profound passion for teaching. Sharing my knowledge and nurturing the talents of aspiring musicians has become an integral part of my purpose. Currently, I'm an enthusiastic session bassist for esteemed entities such as Mannequin Productions, Jade Oracle, Fruta Brutal, and Cous. I've also found joy and fulfillment as a Live Sound Engineer at the revered Dazzle Jazz Club in Denver, CO. My dedication and skills have garnered the endorsement of distinguished names like StringJoy, Franklin Staps, DobleA Pedalboards, Cable Porter, Guitar Pillow, Dogman Devices, and On Song App. Through my musical odyssey and the passion that drives it, I strive to inspire, create, and make an indelible mark on the world of music.

EXPERIENCE

My journey in the world of music has been incredibly fulfilling, especially when it comes to teaching. Over the years, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and passion for music with eager learners of all ages and backgrounds. Teaching music has been a transformative experience for me. There's a unique joy that comes from watching a student's eyes light up when they grasp a challenging concept or successfully play a piece they've been working on. It's a rewarding feeling to be a part of their growth and witness their progress firsthand. Seeing their confidence blossom as they navigate the complexities of an instrument or explore the intricacies of music theory is truly inspiring. One of the reasons I've grown to love teaching is the opportunity it provides to connect with students on a personal level. Each student comes with their own unique musical journey and aspirations. I believe in tailoring my approach to suit their individual needs, helping them overcome obstacles and fostering their strengths. This personalized interaction allows me to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can thrive. The role of a music teacher extends beyond just imparting technical skills. It's about nurturing creativity, instilling discipline, and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. Teaching provides me with a platform to not only share my expertise but also to be a mentor, guiding students on their musical path and encouraging them to explore their own artistic expression. Moreover, the reciprocal nature of teaching is incredibly enriching. While I impart knowledge to my students, I'm constantly learning from them as well. Their fresh perspectives, unique questions, and evolving musical tastes keep me engaged and open to new ideas. It's a dynamic process that allows me to grow alongside my students. Ultimately, the reason why I love teaching music is the profound impact it can have on someone's life. Whether a student becomes a professional musician or simply gains a deeper appreciation for music, knowing that I've played a role in that journey is immensely fulfilling. Music has the power to transform lives, and I'm honored to be a part of that transformation through teaching.

METHODS USED

Here's a detailed description of my teaching methods, practices, and philosophies, including the creation of custom lesson plans and materials: Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a holistic musical experience. I believe that music is not only about technical proficiency but also about cultivating a deep connection and understanding of the art form. I aim to nurture well-rounded musicians who not only excel in playing an instrument but also appreciate the broader aspects of music, such as theory, history, and creativity. Customized Lesson Plans: Every student is unique, with distinct strengths, learning styles, and goals. I create customized lesson plans that cater to each student's individual needs and aspirations. By tailoring the curriculum, I ensure that the learning journey is engaging, relevant, and conducive to the student's progress. Foundational Focus: My teaching often starts with a strong emphasis on building solid fundamentals. A strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and basic music theory provides students with the tools they need to tackle more complex challenges as they advance. Practical Application: I believe in the importance of practical application. While theoretical concepts are crucial, I incorporate hands-on learning right from the beginning. Students learn by doing, which fosters a deeper understanding and connection with the material. Creativity and Exploration: Encouraging creativity is central to my teaching approach. I guide students to explore their musical ideas, experiment with different styles, and even compose their music. This not only sparks their imagination but also cultivates a sense of ownership and pride in their musical journey. Active Participation: I prioritize active participation during lessons. Rather than passive instruction, I engage students through interactive exercises, discussions, and collaborative activities. This keeps them engaged, encourages critical thinking, and facilitates a deeper grasp of concepts. Progressive Challenges: I believe in challenging students progressively. Each lesson builds upon the previous one, introducing new concepts and techniques while reinforcing what has been learned. This gradual approach ensures that students are continually challenged while still feeling supported. Performance Opportunities: Performing is an integral part of becoming a musician. I provide opportunities for students to showcase their progress through recitals, workshops, and even collaborative projects. This not only boosts their confidence but also prepares them for real-world musical experiences. Custom Materials: In addition to using established teaching materials, I create custom resources tailored to the student's needs. These materials may include exercises, practice guides, sheet music, and even audio recordings. Custom materials allow me to address specific challenges and help students progress more effectively. Open Communication: Lastly, open communication is key. I encourage students to ask questions, express their concerns, and share their goals. This fosters a positive teacher-student relationship built on trust and mutual understanding. Overall, my teaching methods are designed to inspire a lifelong love for music while nurturing well-rounded musicians who are not only skilled performers but also informed enthusiasts and creative thinkers.

LESSON STYLE

Teaching is a journey of discovery, growth, and mutual inspiration. My approach is centered on creating an environment where learning becomes an exciting exploration rather than a mere instruction. I view myself as a guide, nurturing the innate curiosity and talents of my students while providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to flourish in their musical pursuits. My teaching approach is characterized by fostering a personalized connection with each student, nurturing their passion for music, and building a strong foundational understanding. I encourage active learning, creativity, and celebrate every step of progress. Open communication and a genuine love for teaching drive my methods. I view teaching as a collaborative journey where the joy of sharing music's magic and the art of education come together.
