For begginging piano sudents who are children I typicall being with John Thompson's "Teaching Little Fingers to Play." Once the student has completed their fundemental training we being to introduce more solo repertoire tailored to their interested. We work on one classical and one comtemporary song of their choosing. For adult piano students, we discuss their goals and what they are interested in and I tailor my instruction no matter their instrumental expereince.  For Voice students I asses each vocalist and provide a completley unique one of kind vocal lesson package tailored to the students ability, sound, and experience no matter what that may be. When teaching beginners, especially kids, I find it easiest to have them learn songs that they already enjoy. This often involves learning the chords within the songs and allows us to start focusing on a strum pattern as well. I have an expertise in fiddling and have performed with bluegrass bands since being in high school. I also have a history of performing mariachi music with the famous band Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan. I enjoy teaching this to my students as well as American music with the method books of Mark O'Connor with whom I have worked on several occasions. Learning these styles if fun! Circe D. is an award-winning Venezuelan cellist hailing from El Sistema, Venezuelas acclaimed youth music program. She was a student of magnet school New World School of Arts in Florida, studying under David Cole, as well as a cello performance student at the University of Florida graduating both academic programs with honors. Ms. Circe D. also holds a masters degree in Cello Performance from the University of Florida.
