I graduated in the Fall of 1998. Since then, I have toyed with organ and electronic keyboard as I started following more of the classic rock and pop styles of the 70's and 80's. Although my classical training taught me a great deal, it has helped me learn more about rock and pop in general, plus it helps me find what' lacking in today's music. with the skills I have within and outside of Fresno State, I want to impart what I have learned on others, so that they too can become more well-rounded as musicians. I studied piano at the Dallas, Texas School of Music. I have played piano for 20 years and guitar for 15. I also attended the James Madison University music program. After college, I moved to San Diego and founded the band Inside Switch. We have released 2 albums to date. Depending on the individual child, often times I introduce creativity, improvisation, performance repertoire for upcoming recitals or other performance venues in which they gain added knowledge and valuable experiences in life of piano music.
