My lessons include: technique and warm-up exercises, performance preparation, personalized arranging, and an emphasis on individualized lesson plans based on level, interests, and goals. My teaching style is non judgemental, holistic and trauma informed. I focus heavily on making sure my student is truly comfortable and feels safe in their lessons, and in my experience, this is critical to ensure progress and good technique. I take notes during lessons to ensure that goals are set and achieved, and I spend at least two hours a week just brainstorming repertoire and technical exercises for my students based on their needs. While studying to complete my BA through Cal Poly Pomona, I have had the privilege of touring with Cal Poly Pomona's University Concert Choir for at least three years. I have been heavily involved with this choir for a total of 5 years, and I was appointed as Section Leader for the Sopranos for one term, which meant hard work and dedication almost paid off back then.
