I feel that this gives the student the ability to choose what they want to do as well as my chance to show them the right way to learn it and create good habits while playing the instruments. I always vary my teaching methods to accomodate each of my student's needs.  However, my lesson format stays fundamentally the same.  I always begin with some mouthpiece buzzing, which incorporates ear-training, then move to rhythm exercises, scales and technical studies, method book, and any other music the student is working on at the time. I am a very well rounded musician. I have performed in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to an appearance on ABC's All My Children. I have performed on every brass instrument with the exception of French Horn. I have taught as many as 40 Piano Students a week.
