I began teaching private music lessons in college in 2003. I have been teaching lessons consistently for the last 10 years from my home studio, online, as well as traveling to the students' home. I find great pleasure in hearing a student's progress, that's why I encourage recording their practice and having a consistent practice schedule. I feel it is important to give positive reinforcement and feedback to students. My love for music began at a very early age and I was blessed to realize, very soon, that it was my passion.I began performing at the age of 13 on clarinet, in voice, and on drums and percussion. I attended the LA County High School for the Art for three years, through which time I became serious about learning music. I went on to earn the Bob Cole Conservatory Scholarship at CalState Long Beach. My favorite courses were Brass Chamber Music and my various music history courses.
