For my beginner students, who are younger, I start off with the Faber series in the Primer levels. After progressing through the first few levels of the series, I then start to introduce solo repertoire depending on the interests of the student. For my older students, we also go through the Faber Adult Piano Adventures book, where we learn the basics of piano along with some fun pieces. Im a multi faceted musician with particular expertise and passion for jazz. I am an HBCU graduate and am proud of it. I recently completed my masters in Jazz Studies at the University of Arkansas at Monticello on full scholarship as a teaching assistant.
