I graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory with a Master's Degree as concert performer and teacher as well as received a diploma with the highest distinction as a concert performer and teacher for violin .While I studied at Yerevan State Conservatory,I was the first violinist of the Chamber Orchestra of Yerevan State Conservatory as well as the first violinist of Yerevan State Conservatory's Quartet.I then continued my Postgraduate Studies at Yerevan State Conservatory.I also received a Certificate from the International Academy D'Art Musical in Paris,France.In the International Festival "Semaines Musicales de Tours" I received the 1st Prize in 2000 and 2001.I have also received a number of diplomas from International Violin Competition in Italy,Poland,Finland and Switzerland. I have been actively teaching for the past 10 years. I have worked with students of all levels and ages, from beginners to college student level of multiple nationalities. I have taught at the prep departments of Lynn University, Palm Beach Atlantic University and North Broward Prep School. Throughout my 15 years of experience, I have learned that young students develop their knowledge slowly in time, in their own pace. In first part of the lesson, the student plays scales, arpeggios and chords as a warm-up, following by short technical exercises, which expose him or her to new musical situations, and develop the playing skills. For beginning singers, I truly work on getting the support system working as early as possible. Because of the delicacy of the youngest voices, I believe this is the most fundamental aspect of singing. Range can be developed as the vocal mechanism develops, but this will all be made easier with a solid support structure. I encourage my students to practice daily and to take care of their instruments. I tell my students that I believe that if you really want to be a singer, musician, and entertainer if you never give up eventually you will achieve your goals. Success is measured by your own happiness, short term and long term goals. My teaching experience dates back to when I was a Junior in high school. I began teaching some group guitar classes and violin lessons. I believe that it's important to instill a love for music as that is what will keep the student practicing throughout the years. I am certified to teach the O'Connor method.
