Since then I have been teaching Flute and Art privately out of my home. I am presently adding to my musical knowledge by studying piano and music theory and I am also taking courses to become Suzuki certified in Flute. I love to teach children and adults flute and/or art. I feel that it is so stimulating to communicate with people and watch them improve and grow. I taught my first trombone lessons when I was still in high school, and I've always felt a strong connection to teaching (my parents are teachers too). When I was getting my masters, I began teaching beginning brass classes at local elementary schools, and this expanded into several elementary band classes upon graduation.
