I taught my first trombone lessons when I was still in high school, and I've always felt a strong connection to teaching (my parents are teachers too). When I was getting my masters, I began teaching beginning brass classes at local elementary schools, and this expanded into several elementary band classes upon graduation. I'm always encouraging and pushing my students to practice more on a daily basis and make them aware that practice and going over the lessons over and over makes them better every day. I'm always also pushing and motivating them to learn more and practice more. The more they practice each lesson the better they become and the more they would have control of the instrument.
