I was the only student that managed to be accepted with a scholarship without previously owning a Bachelor Degree, mostly due to my portfolio and to my previous experience as a musician. My first experience teaching was during the summer when I began instructing swim lessons for the town pool. I quicly began to seek out a way to teach music before I was in college and built a small studio of beginner cellists in my home town. I also began performing in both classical and other styles during this time, something I continue to do today.
