I really take a look at what the student needs to learn and what the student wants to learn because I've seen a lot of students giving up because the institution or teacher is giving to much theory and very poor practice. I began teaching in 2001. I teach voice, piano, and didgeridoo. I have performed at multiple locations locally including the Broward Performing Arts Center and the Lincoln theater. I have taught college Theory classes and Music Appreciation classes and have my MA in music history and literature. I grew up overseas in several countries, exposed to several types of music, and have played guitar for over 20 years. Although my education was focused on the sciences, I did take music classes as electives while studying. I have an acoustic (with a jack) and electric guitar, as well as an Amplifier should you not have access to a guitar or amplifier.
