For beginning students, i start with the fundamentals technical basics of the instrument like long notes, scales and flexibility. Once the student has progressed, i will start with Arban's method book, H.L.Clarke Technical studies for Trumpet and my own exercises. Later i will introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first performance. For adults, i try to find out what the student is interested in, and from there, use that with my instruction to keep the lessons engaging and fun for them, no matter their ability level. Read More

With the older students, I try to inspire them by playing duets, accompanying them, and placing emphasis on a variety of repertoire. My student, no matter what age, starts with light vocalizing, lip trills, humming etc. for young students I usually pick a light song and work on basics using the song as an exercise. I started my college studies at Miami Dade College in the Fall of 2012, and obtained my A.A Degree in May of 2014. After that, I transferred to Berklee College of Music in 2014 and finished in the Summer of 2016 with Summa Cum Laude honors.
