I love all genres of music and I motivate and encourage my students to explore music in that way. Then we work on pieces of music and incorporating theory, and playing musically. It is important as a teacher to set realistic goals for my students, acknowledge their accomplishments and to find out what inspires them. I will learn their intentions of what their goals are short term and long term so we can work together to prepare for what is to come.
