I like to balance structure with fun! This balance is very important when teaching any student a new instrument. Too much discipline and not enough fun and creativity could result in the student feeling stressed out or unmotivated. On the other hand, not enough discipline will make it difficult for the student to progress efficiently. I work with the student at their own pace and set realistic goals for them at each lesson. I have a lot of passion for voice and I want my students to progress. In my own journey, it's taken years of daily practice to see real results and change. I push my students to practice daily for at least an hour and I give specific vocalizations that will help strengthen particular weaknesses in each voice. You will see results and I am one to always acknowledge progress! We will pick out appropriate repertoire that is both fun to sing and inspires passion for you to actually want to sing and practice. When student will be ready I will prepare him/her for first recital in family circle or at the school presentation. Read More
