I am originally from upstate New York and earned both my BM and MME at SUNY Fredonia. I have been teaching private and small group lessons for over twenty years. I also have extensive experience teaching ensemble music in public and private schools in Buffalo (NY), Houston, Madrid, Spain and Chicago. I have also worked as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Fredonia, Roosevelt University, and Lake Forest College. My first venture with popular music was in 1986 playing vibraphone with SinTrans, a jazz group founded at the Conservatory Amadeo Roldn. SinTrans got to perform at the International Jazz Festival in Havana in 1987 and 1988. In 1993 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden where I developed my professional career as a musician, performing and recording with many of the most prominent artists and acts in Sweden: Nordman, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Bebo Valds, Lill Lindfors, Peter Jback, Carola, Blacknuss All Stars, Stockholm Folk Big Band, Jonas Knutsson, Magnus Lindgren Radiojazzgruppen, Janne Tolf and Mats Holmkvists Big Band to name a few.
I toured all around Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, France and other European countries, covering various genres like Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Fusion, Folklore, Salsa, Latin Jazz and much more. Read More

My four years playing in the Navy was an experience in learning that could not have been accomplished elsewhere. I traveled the world performing concerts everywhere and finally ending up being the lead trumpet with the then brand new Orlando Naval Training Center Show Band. After leaving the Navy, I formed my own show band and toured the US for five years, playing night clubs and backing up such entertainers as The Four Aces, Joanne Castle, Bobby Rydell, Fats Domino, Dick Contino and Al Hirt.
