My student, no matter what age, starts with light vocalizing, lip trills, humming etc. for young students I usually pick a light song and work on basics using the song as an exercise. The fundamentals of singing can be explained in 15-20 minutes, but it takes a lifetime to master them. Wherever you are in the pursuit of voice, it's necessary to develop reproducible, reliable technique. Singing is breath, vowels and consonants, and feeling, and how the three of them interact is crucial to having a sustainable, easy, and fun instrument. This is where the work is. My first venture with popular music was in 1986 playing vibraphone with SinTrans, a jazz group founded at the Conservatory Amadeo Roldn. SinTrans got to perform at the International Jazz Festival in Havana in 1987 and 1988. In 1993 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden where I developed my professional career as a musician, performing and recording with many of the most prominent artists and acts in Sweden: Nordman, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Bebo Valds, Lill Lindfors, Peter Jback, Carola, Blacknuss All Stars, Stockholm Folk Big Band, Jonas Knutsson, Magnus Lindgren Radiojazzgruppen, Janne Tolf and Mats Holmkvists Big Band to name a few.
I toured all around Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, France and other European countries, covering various genres like Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Fusion, Folklore, Salsa, Latin Jazz and much more. Read More

I'm a professional trombonist, specializing in the fields of orchestral classical music, and also avant garde contemporary music, and improvised creative music. I was the first trombonist to graduate with a BM from the Colburn School, an intensely rigorous, professional level orchestra, and conservatory, I had the opportunity to work with the Ensemble Modern one of the premier European new music ensembles, and Frank Zappa's self proclaimed "last band".  In 2014, I graduated from the California Institute of the Arts,  where I studied composition, experimental music, and improvisation, and focused primarily on developing my own style of live electronics and improvisation via the trombone.
