Instruments: Voice
I have a lot of passion for voice and I want my students to progress. In my own journey, it's taken years of daily practice to see real results and change. I push my students to practice daily for at least an hour and I give specific vocalizations that will help strengthen particular weaknesses in each voice. You will see results and I am one to always acknowledge progress! We will pick out appropriate repertoire that is both fun to sing and inspires passion for you to actually want to sing and practice. Instruments: Voice Clarinet Recorder
I am adamant about each student growing at his/her own pace. I will never force a student to go places they simply do not wish to go. The goal is to keep it fun, and foster those unique aha moments with the student and the craft. At the beginning of each lesson, I will set realistic goals, and inspire my students to do more than they thought was possible through music. Read More

For beginning students I like to find out how much experience they have had in music and find out what they want to get out of these lessons. If they are just starting out I'll start with the basics, how to hold a drumstick, the parts of the drum set, correct posture, etc. I believe that all students regardless of age and level should learn how to read music. My students will not only be learning how to play drums by listening to bands that they like but also by reading drum sheet music and learning basic theory. Read More

My first experiences with teaching music were at the same time that I began to learn to play my main instrument, the guitar. This goes back to my childhood, because at that moment my teacher realized the facilities that I had not only to learn quickly but also to help my classmates who for different circumstances were not so much facilitated. From there I was always interested in learning and, whenever I could, teach also the satisfaction of being able to transmit knowledge of art as beautiful as music is absolutely comforting. Read More

I motivate my students by being interactive. With children who are new to music, I use my personal method, which is characterized by providing knowledge while playing interactive games, which helps the children grasp music-related issues. With the older students, I try to inspire them by playing duets, and placing emphasis on a variety of repertoire. I also emphasize the theory of music as an indispensable element of learning instrument. Read More
Instruments: Guitar
My experience goes back all the way to middle school. The first time I saw somebody playing a guitar I was surprised. I couldn't believe the melody that came out of it, and just how good it seemed the person playing was feeling. At the time I was about 11 years of age, when my mom bought my first guitar. I started playing very basic songs. Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones was the first song I learned, and I can remember like it was yesterday how hard it was for me to get used to carrying the guitar and the feeling of the strings in my fingers. I like to use a combination of books from different authors and also incorporate my own lessons as well. I keep the lessons fun and engaging with a variety of material that I think is suitable. I play music games with my young students, teach their favorite songs, while showing them all the necessary fundamentals that are required for becoming a great musician. Read More
