Although I have experience teaching both private, one-on-one lessons and group lessons in a classroom setting, I find that one-on-one lessons is the best way to learn. This allows students to go at their own pace and not have to feel rushed. Not to mention, it's way more enjoyable to learn when you have a patient teacher giving you support and motivation. I don't like to rush students because after all, most students just want to learn for fun. Read More

For beginning students I make sure we know every warm up exercise and stretching exercises for the fingers after explaining the importance of rehearsing properly. We will start getting familiarized with a couple circles until the student fluently knows how to accompany every chord. After we are going to learn scales so they also familiarized with licks and comp. After the student does fluently the exercises we will see what the student is mainly interested on learning regarding genre of music for it the process is full of joy. Read More

It is very important to see in each student personality. With their strengths and weaknesses. All lessons are conducted in a friendly and casual atmosphere.. I feel happy when I can help to understand a music, to grow up love for music in people's heart and can help to achieve goals in music for every student. Nothing could be more rewarding than see how your students develop passion for music and then can ignite a passion in others! Read More

Instruments: Flute Piccolo

When meeting a new student I like to take the time to know about them. Such as their Hobbies, what kind of music they like, what attracts them to the flute , what kind of future career they are interested in taking and what they hope to achieve from taking lessons. From there I can cater my teaching style to fit their needs. Each student learns at a different pace and I want to set goals each week for us to achieve as a team that are realistic and do my best to motivate my students to work hard to achieve them. Instruments: Voice

The fundamentals of singing can be explained in 15-20 minutes, but it takes a lifetime to master them. Wherever you are in the pursuit of voice, it's necessary to develop reproducible, reliable technique. Singing is breath, vowels and consonants, and feeling, and how the three of them interact is crucial to having a sustainable, easy, and fun instrument. This is where the work is. The first half of each lesson is spent on vocal exercises and technique, and the second half is spent working on repertoire, applying what's been learned in an effective and lasting way. Read More

Instruments: Saxophone

I guide students in setting achievable goals and breaking down challenging passages into manageable steps. By learning how to practice effectively, students become more confident and develop the self-discipline needed for long-term musical growth. I frequently create my own lesson materials and customized lesson plans to better address the needs of my students. These may include adapted exercises, simplified arrangements, rhythm worksheets, or structured practice guides. Designing my own materials allows me to tailor lessons to each students level and musical interests while reinforcing specific technical and musical skills. Read More
