I began teaching while at the Hartt School; where, after taking a number of courses in vocal pedagogy, I gave voice lessons to music students majoring in other instruments. I also tutored beginner and intermediate ear training while at the Hartt School. Following graduation, I taught private voice at a music and dance center in central Connecticut. For the last several years, I have been teaching at a number of community-based schools around Connecticut, including the Community Music School of Essex, Middlesex Music Academy, and Charles' Music Center. For all of my students, I like to begin by teaching correct "warm-up" methods. It is important to learn how to "warm-up" correctly so as not to hurt your voice. These methods usually differ from student to student, depending on their voice. For beginning students, I would like to begin with "Twenty-Four Italian Songs and Arias". For younger children, I would start with fun songs such as musical theatre or show tunes. Read More

Seven years ago my career as a musical theatre actor led me into the world of teaching and for that, I could not be more grateful. I have a great deal of experience working as both a voice teacher and a musical theatre teaching artist. As a voice teacher I have taught with Kathryn Brickell Music, Acting Out- Brooklyn's Premiere Acting School, as well as my own private studio. I also work as a musical theatre teaching artist with Inside Broadway, Camp Broadway, and New York City Children's Theatre. Read More

I believe my experience and track record make me help the voice students who will discover themselves with joy and growing confidence to express themselves freely through singing. Singing is joyful and rejuvenating in mind and body! In addition, I have taught piano for beginner and intermediate in the past and as a conductor/soloist of church choirs over 15 years in New York City. I am looking forward to having new students with passion, desire, and patience to accomplish their goals and dreams in a healthy way of joyful singing and love to share with the community people and worldly people as well, as the Musical Ambassadors for the Peace on Earth.
