I've taught lessons for a total of 8 years in New York City, Boston, and Midwestern Illinois. I've taught all kinds of students: children, teens, college students, adults, and retirees. Each student has come with their own goals and passions, and I enjoy helping each individual uncover, free, and develop the natural voice within. In addition to setting each student up with a solid vocal technique, I've taught basic music and vocal health to young children (ages 5-7), developed music reading skills in teens and young adults, helped retirees improve technically so they can better contribute to their community choirs, and even instructed a folk singer in improvisation, songwriting, and healthy folk vocal technique. While in school, I had the opportunity to student teach at LaGuardia High School. I loved working with the students there. I worked with students in private lessons as well as in choirs. I have coached students for competitions and auditions but also love working with students who are taking lessons for the fun of it! Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lesson when I graduated. I have been consistently involved in teaching students, both in my home studio as private instructor and as a part of the program Learning On Stage in which I perform and share different Latin-American music styles to teach students from high school and middle school. I encourage my students to regularly practice and to a set schedule because I think thats the key to progress, which leads to gaining passion for the instrument. Read More

I have a BA in music from Brooklyn College and have also studied privately with several different vocal and guitar instructors over the years, because I believe there is always more to learn! I've been a full time professional musician and instructor since graduating college. I have performed in many different musical situations and bring that experience into my teaching studio. I started teaching when I was about 15 years old, I lead a dance group and choreographed a 50 min show about african heritage in North and South American cultures. It was a big project and it helped me realize how much I loved teaching. From then on I've taught several subjects from dance, to Spanish and voice lessons. During my time at Berklee I was also a Core Music Tutor for Ear Training, Harmony, and Tonal harmony. Read More

I love sharing the joys of music with others! I graduate from Marywood University in January 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Music Therapy. I took private vocal lessons starting when I was 14 years old. I was a part for my colleges chamber choir and I went on tour with them and performed throughout the US and Canada. I studied abroad in London for a semester and was a part of the Kings College choir as well. Read More
