With my new beginning students, who don’t have much experience, we start with the fundementals - singing posture, breathing, basic warm ups and their importance, music theory, and simple repertoire. For my more intermediate, advanced students, I will check to see where your fundementals are, and help you blossom from there. I work closely with the student to understand their goals and achieve them each class. I believe in an encouraging and safe learning environment. Henry is an incredibly experienced piano instructor in northern New Jersey, working with students of all ages and skill levels.Henry is an active member of two bands: one is a progressive rock group where he writes original compositions, and the second is a Beatles tribute band that regularly plays in the area. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student's desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. But in the mean time, work on techniques, musically, and  breathing techniques, finding a method that will work to correct the weaknesses they have. Each student learns differently, so its about finding the method that works for that particular student.
