I began my musical journey in East Orange, New Jersey, where Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston also got their starts. In 2016, I earned my B.A in Music at Duke University, then went on to complete my M.M. in Jazz Studies in 2020 with focus in Vocal Jazz Performance at North Carolina Central University.
