My journey with teaching Voice was ironically during school! I had been in Choir since the second grade. Since then I worked hard to strengthening my instrument. I became section leader for Soprano section. That job required me to perfect each individuals tone so that we blended well as a choir. I began tutoring voice major on repertoire and harmonics. The combination of performing my own work kept my skills sharp so that I could assist my peers. Read More

This is a very important aspect as the student must understand what he/she is practicing. My lessons always end with an outline of what we covered, how well he/she has covered the passages and what needs improvement. The main vision I have at all times as a teacher is my student satisfying the goals they had before they picked up lessons. I want my students to accomplish their dreams and goals they never thought were possible. Read More

It was so hard for me to leave my students in Miami. We had such a great bond filled with motivation, discipline, and passion. I like to learn while having fun most of all. I love to play and incorporate live musical interactions with my students. Read More

After that I worked at an electronic music studio in Hawthorne, N.Y. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs and desires. I encourage all of them to develop reading, listening, coordination, and concentrating skills. I help each student to have the ability to play many different music styles and improvise in those styles. We work with developing the ear in order to play along with recorded music and teach them how to transcribe the songs so that they can document it for future use. Read More
