The study of singing has been important to me for many years. After performing over twenty opera roles in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, I decided to focus more on my family. I started my voice studio in 2005 and have since enjoyed forging beautiful relationships with my students.
I'm a fun and knowledgable voice teacher with over nine years of teaching experience. My teaching style is grounded in solid vocal techniques that I teach in a clear and concise manner. I am nurturing and thorough as I prepare my students for their next competition, audition, or performance. I generally have all of my students work on Classical, Musical Theater, and Pop genres so that they are well-rounded. My students have been accepted to many competitive Universities, have been invited to sing with The Connecticut All-State Chorus, and have won singing contests and competitions. Performing opera around the world was a great experience. I take great joy in sharing that experience and my love of singing with my students.
All of my students work on tried and true Bel Canto and Swedish techniques. I will give each student special vocal exercises to work on at home. I generally assign songs from The 24 Italian Songs and Arias songbook and I use Musical Theater Anthologies. Some of my more advanced High School students work on Opera arias.
I am a teacher who looks to understand the individuality of each student so that I can effectively convey vocal and performance techniques. Students find me to be very nurturing and knowledgable. My students always increase their ability and confidence while studying with me.
