I am a very organised teacher, giving each of my students lesson notes with exercises and aspects to work on. I regularly suggest music which complements the work we are doing to strengthen the voice, create flexibility, or consistency of tone. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but I also hold myself to that high standard. It is so important to me to get students to listen to themselves, to think critically about what they hear and feel, and also learn how to troubleshoot issues on their own! Read More

My teaching experience began with giving masterclasses to theater tour groups coming to NYC. I fell in love with teaching! I find it very rewarding sharing my experinces with the students and helping them achieve their goals. I started my own private vocal studio so I could work with students on a one to one basis. I teach out of my home in Secaucus, NJ and also out of Ripley Grier Studios in NYC. Read More

My first concern when I meet a student is to raise their interest and curiosity about music. I find that when the student is fascinated about the instrument he is learning, his will to progress and learn more makes our work together much more efficient and improvement much faster. The desire to learn must come from the student, no matter the age. Learning music requires a lot of hard work, perseverance and self-discipline. Read More
