I have played in musical pits, put on my own recitals, as well as performed in various studio recitals and band concerts throughout my career as a musician. I have also played for multiple weddings. An alumnus from the Tell School of Music in Millersville, he has worked in the music scene in the Lancaster area as an event coordinator and an assistant studio engineer. I have been playing and practicing the drum set consistently since I began in my early adolescence. Over the past decade, I have performed with dozens of ensembles of varying styles from jazz orchestras to rock outfits to more off-kilter projects. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
