I have been a professional educator since 2008 and have worked at all levels from elementary, high school and college. For Beginners who are just learning how to read music, I usually start off with Faber's method, there is a version for adults as well as children. This seems to progress at a very suitable speed, comfortable yet still challenging, and has proved to be quite effective in getting basics down. Once my students have become familiar with the fundamentals in these books, I move them on to repertoire according to their individual goals or needs. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in various studios since then. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

I continued this path teaching classical flute and jazz improvisation to anyone who would listen to me! In college, I worked with the saxophone players in the jazz department helping them develop their flute sound as a doubles instrument. Now, I am teaching private lessons in the Philadelphia area to all ages and abilities! Read More

For me Im hoping to help a person gain a whole new outlook on how they see music. I want to have them grab the material and really focus on the basics so that when they get to the next levels of their teachings that they will have an easier transition. I want to develop a good relationship with my students so they are ultimately comfortable with my teaching experience. Read More

Instruments: Voice

I absolutely loved having the opportunity to build personal relationships with young singers. I felt such a rush of joy whenever I left the lessons; knowing that the students felt more confident after their time with me. Once I graduated, I decided to start building a studio with more voice students. Throughout the summer, I took in some more students, and I have built such amazing and positive relationships with them. Read More
