I love music and it should be fun for everyone. While I can teach the most advanced students, I really enjoy helping beginners and intermediates get started playing whatever music they love. I make sure EVERY student learns MUSIC and not just their instrument so that way they can learn to play by ear, compose, and explain music. I create lesson plans specific to every student so they can accomplish exactly what they want. Read More

I am a passionate, hard-working singer and instructor who loves to encourage and motivate beginning and intermediate singers to become more confident in their study of music. In 2019, I graduated from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music with my Masters in Early Music Voice, where I engaged in intense performance study of baroque and renaissance music along with many other styles. My performances and recordings have a particular focus on early seventeenth-century English and Italian vocal repertoire, which gives me the unique opportunity to allow historical research to inform my performances of the repertoire. When I have discovered what my students are interested in and what truly motivates them, I can guide my instruction accordingly. Read More

I love to teach music because it reminds me of the joy I felt in the process of musical discovery when I was a student. Since graduation, I've had the opportunity to explore many avenues within the world of percussion. Among these opportunities, I had the privilege to study and perform different music of the Caribbean. Read More

Though I am a recent graduate, I've had a hand full of students over the years. I've been teaching for 2 years now and have loved it ever since. I have always encouraged students to practice regularly, which has lead to them progressively becoming proficient at their instrument. Not only that, but to never take anything less as a stylistic choice. It's a constant conversation, so both my students and I learn from each other. Read More
