I have played in musical pits, put on my own recitals, as well as performed in various studio recitals and band concerts throughout my career as a musician. I have also played for multiple weddings. I find it equally important to be able to hear the notes that one can play on their instrument just like they can see the notes they can play in the process. My journey as a singer started as soon as I could talk. I won my hometowns pageant (Little Miss Rockwall) by singing and dancing to a Shirly Temple song. I was singing on stage with my mom in church and eventually was leading music in chapel at my private school and in youth group services. I competed in my school choir and did solo competitions as well.
