Instruments: Piano
I throughly enjoy making music. I started taking piano lessons when I was 5 years old and continued taking all the way through graduate school at TCU, where I graduated in 2016. Playing solo and collaborating with fellow musicians are still some of my favorite pass times. I enjoy playing all kinds of genres: Classical, pop, worship, Bossa Nova. Some of my most memorable experiences have been collaborative. From playing piano duets in grade school, singing in church choir, to accompanying in semi-professional competitions, like the Young Texas Artists Competition, I find performing with others is fun and exciting. Instruments: Voice
I teach every student at their own pace. There is never any pressure and I always acknowledge and praise their efforts and accomplishments. Once I get to know the student and their motivation, inspiration and desires, we build a better understanding of each other. I am very personable, creative and I can always adjust to an individual's needs. I love music just as much as my students do, so the more time we spend helping each other grow and be musical, the easier it is to feel the support and energy come alive during our time together. Instruments: Piano Voice Keyboard
I have experience teaching all levels and genres and change my teaching to what is best suited for the learner. With piano students I enjoy using John Thompson and Alfred methods for beginners and I choose different songs as students get more experience. For voice students I use simple songs to develop their vocal technique. Through effective warmups and reading, students will develop musicianship skills. I focus on technique development through music learning. Read More

As I am a licensed teacher, I follow a democratic method of instruction that provides the student with the technique they need, while also addressing the student's personal wishes and goals. I strive to choose music that captures the student's attention and interest, as a motivated student is a progressive student. I can be stringent and highly structured for the more advanced player, but also remain flexible with student practice schedules. Read More

I'm an engaging and passionate classical pianist who began playing at age 4. I studied under Ingrid Clarfield throughout my early years, then continued my training under Robert Shannon at Oberlin College Conservatory, where I completed a dual-degree program in Classical Piano Performance and Psychology. I've performed at Carnegie Hall and collaborated with elite musicians from around the world. My background in both music and psychology gives me a unique perspective on the emotional and cognitive aspects of learning and performing. Read More
Instruments: Piano Saxophone
I prioritize individualized progress, recognizing that each student follows their unique path in their musical journey. To support this, I establish realistic goals tailored to each student's abilities and aspirations during our lessons. Acknowledging achievements serves as a powerful motivator, igniting a student's drive to reach new heights in their musical pursuits. I find that celebrating milestones not only instills a sense of accomplishment but also cultivates a hunger for further learning. Read More
Instruments: Bass Guitar Double Bass
My teaching style is relaxed and focused on having fun with music. I have had many teachers who have been very influential in my life and teaching philosophy. My biggest goal is for the student to make beautiful music they like to make, and I believe that enjoying the music is the best way to make that happen. This is because I think practice is often over complicated, in my mind the best way to become a good musician is to spend as much time as possible playing the instrument, and a relaxed and fun approach is the best way to get a student playing all day.
