I first started teaching group lessons at a yoga studio where I was employed in the Spring of 2018. The popularity of those lessons was limited, but I found when I had students I enjoyed engaging with them one on one and discussing my craft. I quit my job at the yoga studio and committed my time to marketing myself as a guitar teacher instead. As I discovered my passion for it I continued to study it in college and graduated with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Music from Rider University. I'm pretty laidback and like to make the student feel comfortable. If given the opportunity I can definitely launch into some pretty passionate talks about music , to really reach out and teach my students some really cool things. At the same time though, i don't like to bore any student with certain topics if they aren't ready and willing to learn these things. It really depends on the student.
