I have an individual approach to every student. I'm choosing for them individual program which is suitable for their abilities (from intermediate level ). I love to see how they are making progress. Practice is a key to success. Even talented people need to practice in order to achieve a great success. And my goal is to teach my student to love music. For that I'm giving my students more lyrical, expressive and romantic style music which they love and they successfully progress. Read More

I care about my students as people, because music must be integrated into their lives. Students relax into their lessons. There is plenty of praise and encouragement (as well as stickers and pencils!) Students proceed at their own pace, with an emphasis on core fundamentals. Lessons are fun, and rewarding, with the year end recital as the culmination of the year's work. Read More

I am very patient, friendly, humorous, approachable and humble/modest in demeanor, where many other teachers have a huge ego and "God complex", where they talk down to the student and make them feel uneasy and overly self-conscious. I am completely flexible with my lessons, teaching exactly what the student (or parent) wants (them) to learn, anything from the standard traditional approach (i.e reading music) to the rock approach just teaching them how to play their favorite songs, which I figure out by ear on the spot from the recording which the student asks me to listen to. My approach to teaching varies with every student a come across. I try to get a good grasp of their strengths and weaknesses while also identifying their nature gifts. All musicians have unique abilities and ways of expressing their talents. I am very much open to artistic freedoms and catering to different approaches for each individual student. I strive to facilite resources to allow my students to set realistic goals for themselves. Read More

I began teaching during the last few years of my bachelor's degree, I remember taking a Flute Pedagogy class which provided me the basics as to how to demonstrate concepts to students. I have taught in students' homes and at various music studios in New Brunswick by using the Rubank Method, etude books, and flute repertoire. During the last few years of the pandemic right in March 2020 after I finished my Master's Degree, I began taking courses with the Suzuki Method instruction for flute instruction. Read More
