Throughout the years I have taught in person, online, have led flute choirs, and have been a clinician for woodwind sections for bands and orchestras. The majority of my lessons have taken place in the students' homes, but I am fully equipped to provide high quality lessons over Skype and FaceTime. I would combine listening and playing, along with basic music theory for my teaching. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce different materials according to the progress of the student. I have not yet started my teaching career but I am super excited to start gaining experience with all of you! I have taken a flute pedagogy class at my undergraduate, Gettysburg College and a woodwind and brass method class during my graduate studies at The Longy School of Music. I have much more experience performing and participating in summer flute masterclasses. I do hope to gain professional music performance experience by being in an orchestra, opera, or ballet, doing chamber music, and organizing small solo concerts. Read More
