What I teach for everyone is healthy singing. I have a wealth of pedagogical knowlege, and I know how the voice psyiologically works. I studied transverse flute at Moravian College with Robin Kani from 1985-1992. From March 1996 to May 1997, I studied with Brooks De-Wetter Smith at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I studied recorder for two semesters at Moravian College with professors Dr. Paul Larson and Dr. Larry Lipkis, composer in residence and performer with the Baltimore Consort. 1994 I began to teach privately. I learned how to format lessons, differentiate for beginner players, second year players, and third year players, how to fix lots of technical problems for all instruments, and how to assign and assess weekly performance goals. At 14, Will had his first paying professional gig playing a production of Little Shop of Horrors in SE Michigan, where a community theater scene provided work and experience leading up to studying at the LA Music Academy in 2007. Will spent the next several years in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA working as a drummer playing many styles of music including top 40, jazz, funk, rock roll, country, etc. It's this real world playing experience that Will utilizes in teaching and passing on knowledge as well preparing students for a potential career as a musician.
