While working with soloist, I focus on the strength of that singer. We will work on what they are good at and make it even better. I moved from PA to GA in hopes of finding more clients and getting a better hold on my new found independence. While in GA the opportunity to teach at the Conservatory of Piano presented intself. My teaching style is relaxed and organic. Don't get me wrong, we will work hard! But it will be fun and enriching. I teach my students to appreciate the music they make, and to listen to themselves for what is working well, in addition to what can be improved. Upon graduation from college, I worked with autistic support students within Pittsburgh Public schools. I secured my music teaching position working in the same district shortly there after.
