I have played trumpet since the 4th grade and I played throughout high school, college up to today. I sang and played in multiple ensembles throughout my schooling career. The main reason that I keep track of my student's growth, musical ability, learning speed, and musical history, is because every student is uniquely different when they are in the lessons. Some students are better with being pushed at a quicker pace, and others need more time to learn things.
