In 2006, I graduated from The Peabody Consveratory of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Performing all over the world to include the U.S. and Europe has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician. I have been teaching for two years now. It's been extremely fun to work with my students. 90% of my students so far have been Musical Theater singers. I adapt my teaching to their styles. What I teach for everyone is healthy singing. I have a wealth of pedagogical knowlege, and I know how the voice psyiologically works. Generally, I sit down with the student and we set a goal. From there I can break down this goal into little Milestones and from there, the material for each lesson springs forth. Some of it may be from books, some may be a customized adaptation of a song they want to learn made for their specific level. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I would first establish the level of my student and figure out which direction suits them best to achieve there own personal goals. Someone first starting off , We would first concentrate on finger strength. Excercises that are fun but also help build the neccasary tools. Basic chords , scales , and basic strumming is a good example of where i would start a guitar student.
