Generally, I sit down with the student and we set a goal. From there I can break down this goal into little Milestones and from there, the material for each lesson springs forth. Some of it may be from books, some may be a customized adaptation of a song they want to learn made for their specific level. In 2006, I graduated from The Peabody Consveratory of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Performing all over the world to include the U.S. and Europe has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician. Students will be able to choose repertoire and learn technique through the music they love. Students are encouraged to discuss the music that they are interested in, their goals, and interests. The most important thing for me as a teacher is to see my students having fun, and really enjoying learning their instrument. I want to see them be passionate about getting better because they’re excited about what’s coming next.
