About the time I started a family, I consolidated my teaching, opening a home studio while maintaining my position at the boarding school. Since 2006 I have taught every year in a summer arts program for gifted and talented youth, only taking off the summer of 2013 while on maternity leave. I give each student the freedom to learn and prove to themselves just how wonderful they can be. I am a vocal teacher, that means I am focusing on vocal technique more, but I also can perform vocal coaching when needed. These two are different roles. A vocal teacher works with technical aspect of singing - muscles, sound production, breathing, control of your sound etc. Your vocal coach works with intonation, style, musical and acting part of your singing.
