The first two things that I teach in my studio is posture and breathing. I analyze the posture of the singer and find several yoga postures that can help the student to relax some tension and to be more comfortable. I help students to be more aware of how the breath works in their bodies by using several repeating breath exercises and yoga posture. My vocal technique is based on YogaVoice, meaning that I used Yoga principles combined with Vocal Technique exeecises to sing more organic and to achieve an authentic relaxed voice. Read More

A vocal teacher works with technical aspect of singing - muscles, sound production, breathing, control of your sound etc. Your vocal coach works with intonation, style, musical and acting part of your singing. Because the voice is not as concrete as instruments, I do not use a specific, rigid method. Every voice is unique to the person. I create individual lessons plans for each student, and I tailor the exercises to the needs of that particular student. I believe that singing is the most beautiful and human thing we can do as musicians, and following one rigid method, in my opinion, does not motivate singers. Read More
