My teaching style consists of setting realistic short term and long term goals for my students. I always make sure my students understand the material I am showing them. I encourage them to challenge themselves to achieve their goals they never thought they could achieve. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

I am a laid back instructor that knows when the setting is right to encourage the student by leading them in the right direction to achieve their specific and unique goals. My teaching experience began when I was in my undergraduate program, as I began teaching private and group lessons at a local Performing Arts Center. I encourage my students to establish a consistent practice schedule in addition to their lessons, as it offers paramount support to the material being studied, reinforces and conditions the instruments, and greatly contributes to the progress of the student. I strive to provide an exciting, fun atmosphere for the student while ensuring each lesson accomplishes the preset goals we have set. Read More

This is my first time reaching out to potential students! I am looking to gain teaching experience through these lessons as I develop my own personal teaching style. I look forward to this journey and hope that you will join me along the way! While I do not have a whole lot of experience teaching, I do have experience in the choral field. I know how to collaborate musically with others as well as practice techniques that have worked for me in any of the choirs I have performed in. Read More
