Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I'm a tender, loving, and caring instructor who's passionate about sharing what I know about music with those I teach and mentor. In 2002, I graduated from Triton Regional School District with a Diploma where I studied long and hard the fundamentals of music as far as performance and writing. My teaching philosophy is based on diversity of methods (including traditional and innovative streams). I employ a personal approach to each student, and modify it based on student's individuality. To begin with, I teach my students how to develop their own warm up method which includes breathing and stretching, vocalizations and good old fashioned solfege. You will learn to understand your own vocal mechanism and how it resonates, as well as how breath support works, and their effects on the singing voice. I started out teaching "house call" style lessons, driving ALL over the area, just to gain students and experience! This was while attending graduate study for Music Education as well. Once I built up a good following, mostly via word-of-mouth, I was able to teach both out of my home (upon purchasing my baby grand piano which is currently in my studio today), and then moving into a shared studio space.
