For students of any level, it is useful to have a combination of repertoire that is more challenging, and pushes my students to see beyond their current skill level, as well as repertoire that allows them to enjoy the expression that is possible with their current skill level. My main instrument is the flute, which I have been playing for twelve years now, but I also am a vocalist and play most instruments in the woodwind family.--I graduated from Morehead State University in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Music Education and have been teaching ever since. I am a vocalist and flautist in the Army National Guard Band and have performed in a multitude of venues.
