In 2006, I graduated from The Peabody Consveratory of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Performing all over the world to include the U.S. and Europe has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I have been teaching for almost 10 years, in Philadelphia schools such as Olney High School, Nueva Esperanza, AMLA Latin School for The Performing Arts, Taller Puertorriqueo, and Philly Music Lessons. I have been consistently teaching students in my home studio within the last 6 years. As music composition and music production are rapidly changing with the rise of technology, I also teach music composition with technology in mind. When teaching both voice and piano I find music literacy vital. In younger students first developing aural skills, I like to sing and repeat tonal and rhythmic patterns. I also give handout assignments to learn notes on the staff. With older and more experienced students, I devote time in each lesson to sight reading and sight singing. Now, at twenty-five, I have had the opportunity to teach people from all walks of life, with ages ranging from 6 to 60!  I encourage students to practice "perfect practice", which means they are as relaxed as possible when practicing (mentally and physically). I believe that each student needs to set their own goals and therefore I like to go at the pace my students prefer. While I am happy to help set some basic goals and will assign work to do outside of our lessons, I believe that long term goals are our own.
