I also try to gauge what motivates and excites them, which allows me to better help them grow and develop in desired areas. I decided early on to become a musician and pursued this goal through my education. I started piano at age 8 and continued with them for the next 15 years. I also studied trumpet from elementary school through high school. After finishing my studies I began teaching to supplement my income. It would go on to be a full time profession. I'm a clarinet instructor who is excited to share his passion with his students. In 2014, I graduated from University of Southern Maine, where I studied clarinet with Tom Parchman, with a degree in Music Education. In 2017, I graduated from University fo Delaware with a dual Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance and Composition, where I studied clarinet with Chris Nichols. While working with soloist, I focus on the strength of that singer. We will work on what they are good at and make it even better.
