In my lessons, you can expect to learn how the voice works, what works best for your voice, how to use language as an avenue for healthy singing, and try new things you might need more clarification on at first. A part of music-making is making mistakes and learning and growing from them: we can make that happen together. I like to tell my students to be confident. Dont be afraid of what sounds your voice may makeany sound can be produced and made healthily. Read More

After college, I lived in New York City for 5 years and then Los Angeles for 5 years, while teaching voice and working as a professional singer. I have recently moved back home to South Jersey and can't wait to continue my passion for teaching voice. I love working with singers of all ages and experience levels to help them achieve their goals and maintain vocal health. I am happy to help you with audition preparation or just to keep your voice in shape. Read More

I try to provide a balance between structure and flexibility. The student and his or her well being is more important than the music, yet the music Fuels the lesson. My goal is that students walk out of their lessons feeling more uplifted and inspired than when they walked in. Music lessons are life lessons. The commitment to practice little by little to achieve a goal, the joy in improving step by step, the satisfaction of accomplishment, yet the challenge to continually get better...these lessons translate to all of life. I like to keep my lessons fun. I realize that technique can be dull and dry at times but is a necessity in learning music. I like to mix technique with songs and styles of music the student is interested in so they get a full understanding of why technique is important and how it applies to songs and musical selections that are of interest to the student. A learning experience should be fun because for people, especially a child, something has to peak a willingness to learn. Read More

When I first start working with students, I strictly work on warmups for a few lessons. The first lesson is usually when students get their jitters out about singing in front of someone and learn that I'm really not a scary person. I also get to know where their voice sits, what is beautiful about their voice and what we could work on. Once there is comfort between myself and the student, I will start teaching them technique to create more comfort and ease in their production of tone. Read More

Whether young or old, I am able to accommodate you with your preference of musical facilities. I cannot stress enough the importance on LOVING what you do and LOVING why you do it- Therefore, I generally communicate between lessons with students to be notified of their progress & educational desires. Through the deep practice I've undergone in Guitar Theory, Ear Training, Improvising, and Articulation (musically)- I strive to provide a balanced and engaging lesson in your string instruments of choice (PSA: I am able to teach Guitar, Cello, Ukulele, Electric Bass, and Music Production).
