My teaching experience starts off eight years ago. I started teaching close friends and relatives and realized I had a passion for singing. Im currently a singing teacher and a dance teacher currently with a studio. I teach whatever style the student is most interested in but I specialize in pop, rb, and musical theatre. I start off my classes with healthy training exercises specializing in the students needs and then work on various songs. Read More

I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I take great pride in being able to teach on an individual basis, meaning I teach according to what the student needs and wants to be taught. Read More

This has given my students great success. I have found that once they connect to their breath, they connect to themselves and their vocal mechanisms more effectively. After the breathing exercises, I work on vocal technical exercises for the first half of the lesson. During this time, I teach my students about vocal health, vocal agility, pitch, vocal strength, expanding their ranges, and much more. I like incorporating visuals and movement to help the students kinesthetically connect to a concept. Read More

My teaching experience began when I was in my undergraduate program, as I began teaching private and group lessons at a local Performing Arts Center. I encourage my students to establish a consistent practice schedule in addition to their lessons, as it offers paramount support to the material being studied, reinforces and conditions the instruments, and greatly contributes to the progress of the student. I strive to provide an exciting, fun atmosphere for the student while ensuring each lesson accomplishes the preset goals we have set. Read More

I always want to make sure my students can apply what they learn in my lessons to their participation in their actual choirs. If a student is preparing for a PMEA Choir audition, I will help them prepare the repertoire as well as provide a mock audition. If they sing in a church choir, we will work on sight singing hymns as well as working on any difficult literature. If they simply want to learn more about music theory, I will focus on that. My teaching experience dates back to my college days. I have held a private studio focusing on the core concepts of singing, vocal tonation and breath support since my third year in college. I help my students to find their own voice and their own sound. I don't encourage students to emulate the style of other singers but rather to find their own sound. During my tenure at Peabody I performed in various shows both on and off campus, including summers via many prestigious programs in Europe to include; Read More

After college and marrying, I spent several years in Greece raising my daughters. There, I launched a career in teaching English. My students ranged in age from 3 years old to 65. My musical backround made the lessons fun. I helped organize concerts, musicals and performed with bands. I also welled with pride in watching my daughters participate in these events. . In my three years back in the states, I have continued to teach vocal students how to sing with ease and confidence. There is no perfect voice. Read More
