One of my main goals as a teacher is to get to know my student, how they best learn, and what it is they love about music. My own love for music and particular bands/genres is what gave me the drive to keep practicing, and I bring this same approach to each of my lessons. Nothing makes me more happy than to see one of my students getting excited about something they are playing--and because of this, I structure my lessons to maximize the aspects of music each student enjoys, while making sure to incorporate fundamental aspects of technique and music theory regardless of the particular music we are studying. I teach every student at their own pace. There is never any pressure and I always acknowledge and praise their efforts and accomplishments. Once I get to know the student and their motivation, inspiration and desires, we build a better understanding of each other. I am very personable, creative and I can always adjust to an individual's needs. I love music just as much as my students do, so the more time we spend helping each other grow and be musical, the easier it is to feel the support and energy come alive during our time together. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson, while also gently pushing them to take their abilities to the next level when I see that they are ready to. My teaching experience started in my junior year of college in Quito- Ecuador. During the summer of 2015, I did a seminar on YogaVoice to singers of different levels at "Fundacion Armonia." I was able to worked with several students and help them fix some technical problems related to their singing. Since that day, I started my private studio. I give price voice lessons in my studio. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years.
