I believe Faber books do an excellent job at covering all areas of music. I make sure to keep tabs on my students' practicing as I believe in consistency. I started teaching back in 2015. I began with teaching small groups of kids and teens ages 4 to 18 in the regional art center in Moscow, Russia. I had singing and puppeteering groups. My students had recitals on the art center stage, went to singing contests and did some recordings. Soon after starting teaching groups I got private students. I moved to US in 2017. I have recently learned bass guitar as well. I encourage students to practice at least 20-30 minutes a day because even that little amount of time makes all the difference. I also love to incorporate creativity in my lessons with songwriting and improvisation. I also encourage students to participate in recitals as well.
